Go back and read parts I- IV.
Then read this.
We are going to lose this fight.
The reason (s) being…
No one is willing to work together.
I/ we can’t work with this person or group because…
Supports treament for “addicts”
Supports gun rights
Oh my God, they’re “junkies”
Supports tx for “addicts”
Supports “alt” pain tx methods
And on and on and on…
Think about this –
None of the above matters…at all.
The ONLY way we win this is if we unite as one.
People have different views on life, politics, religion, and everything mentioned above.
Get the f*ck over it.
They ain’t wrong and you ain’t right.
Agree to disagree, work together, and we can get something accomplished.
Continue the ongoing clusterfuck of toxic stupidity – and we ALL lose.
Think for yourselves. Get out if the 24/7 media/ .gov/ political propaganda bubble.
Read articles from those with opposing views, do actual research.
Don’t rely on biased media bullshit.
Be a pilot. Operate your own controls.
Judge those of us who advocate on who they are as a person – not on their personal or political beliefs that do not agree with yours.
You might actually learn that you have a hell of a lot more in common than you think.
Think… That’s the key.
Be objective, don’t let your personal and political beliefs make decisions for you.
Listen to others.
There is a hell of a lot of common ground to be found among those in the CPP community.
I know I’m trying to work on uniting people in this community. I know many can vouch for that claim.
How many others are actually making an effort to get shit done?
I know I’m repeating myself, but…
We have to work together.
If not, we lose.
We have to fight back.
We have to organize.
We have to join together with other advocacy groups.
It is without a doubt the only way we can win.
If we don’t do this…
All of us will suffer in 24/7 every second of every minute of ever day pain and not one Dr or one .gov agency will give a f*ck.
We have to get our message out of the social media CPP bubble.
We have to get better organized in the social media bubble so that our message reaches non CPP’s in the social media bubble at the same time.
We’re Tweeting and sharing info/ studies amongst ourselves – that ain’t helping.
Unite different groups and it exponentially increases the reach of our message(s).
The only way we win is by becoming a unified force.
We need numbers.
That’s the only way we get the full attention of those waging the war on pain pts.
The anti opioid zealots are actually a minority.
There’s a hell of a lot more of us than there is of them.
We ALL have to stand up and speak out against the anti opioid PROPaganda.
Doing so via 972 different groups fighting amongst themselves ain’t gonna get it done.
I don’t know what else to say other than stop and think for yourselves, put the petty bullshit aside, and can we please, please try to get shit done as a unified group?
Anyone got any ideas?
